[SOCK ERROR] - TX FAILED : reason (-241) failed to transmit all queued packets

Hi,

I am receiving the error shown in the subject([SOCK ERROR] - TX FAILED : reason (-241) failed to transmit all queued packets). It happens when I try to disconnect the http client. when I saw that error definition in the socket .h it was given as record layer length error. Can any one help me understand what it means. And what causes that error. How do I make sure it doesn't occur.

Most important doubt is that whether it leaves any memory uncleared which eventually destructs the application?. Please let me know any other useful details about it.

Sorry the subject in the above post is wrong. Actual message is below
[SOCK ERROR] - close socket (241) operation failed to transmit all queued packets.

I am only able to see -241 in the socket.h but not 241. Can anyone also point me to the wright file for error 241.

Hi Bhanu,

The value 241 refers to the socket descriptor of the socket that failed to transmit all queued packets. The error you are seeing is SL_ECLOSE (-15).

Try inserting a delay to allow the device to finish sending any packets before disconnecting. If you are shutting down the network processor anyway, please refer to the following post.
