FATFS - Does not mount SD Card

Hi,

I am having troubles with fatfs on cc3200. If I run the sd card host example, it runs like it should and gives me the correct capacity of the SD Card. But if I run the SD card hos + fatfs it cannot mount the volume.

I already format the Sd Card in FAT, FAT16, FAT32, etxFAT and nothing. It always returns FR_DISK_ERR. I format the SD card using different programs and OS too.

Does anyone know what may be happening.

Hello,

I do not have this hardware to test here but it sounds like failing in f_mount() may be related to the lower layers of disk_read, disk_write or disk_ioctl functions.

What I would try is use the ROM driver lib instead of RAM.

If you look at rom_map.h, you would see that all MAP_XXX are converted to XXX and not to ROM_XXX.

There is no single define to do it so just for the test you can manually enable the relevant ROM APIs.

In your case, all APIs with SDHost should be relevant.

That could be a problem, but mine was a little bit different and may let people strugle a long time with it:

The Clock speed was too high for my sd card. Be careful when doing this.
