CC3100BOOST: Regarding coding of CC3100

Hello,

I am using MSP432 and CC3100BOOST. I would like to know that can CC3100 can be easily configured and coded using MSP432?

I have sensors inputs to MSP432 and I want cc3100boost to send those inputs to me without any hardware connection with the laptop.
So, This can be done right? Or does it require any more hardware? Is CC31XXEMUBOOST emulation board a must? Can its activities be done by MSP432?

Hi Abhishek,

The MSP432 can be used with the CC3100, but we do not provide those drivers in the SDK. You are welcome to port your own, or I believe the most recent MSP432Ware has a working example with the CC3100.

The emulation board is recommended so you can update the service pack or if you need to flash user files for the internal httpserver, etc.
