direct communication between cc3200 and mobile phone through wifi

My application need to hook mobile phone to device cc3200 launch pad.   Device 3200 is in a local network which can access internet,  it need send data to  specified mobile phone which we already set up phone number  in settings.  Could cc3200 can make this by itself , Any clues?

    Hi yuzhen,

    Yes, its easy to open sockets on either end and create a connection. However, the more difficult part is how each device will know each other's IP address. You can try mechanisms like mDNS for local discovery, or a more robust solution involves using a cloud server known to both devices to share the IP addresses.
