WL1807MOD: Total RSSI versus RSSI ant ANT

Part Number: WL1807MOD

what is the difference between ‘Total RSSI’ and ‘RSSI at ANT’ in RTTT?

Also, I’m assuming destination MAC address is the unit under test (i.e. the one I’m using to receive packets and to which I am connected using the RX tab of RTTT) – could you confirm?

  • Hi,

  • Hi Ajayt,

My apologies for the later reply:

    1) Total RSSI is at SoC. The only difference from RSSI at ANT is the trace loss taken into account and decreased to achieve RSSI at ANT.
    2) As for the destination address than this is the configured DUT MAC address used for filtering the incoming packets. The ESG should be configured to have this address its destination address.

    Thanks,
    Riz
