Linux/WL1835MODCOM8B: BLE continuous TX with different frequency mode ( Hopping, Single frequency)

Part Number: WL1835MODCOM8B
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: WL1835

Tool/software: Linux

Hi,

We are working on FCC certification of custom device with WL1835 module.

For BLE, We need to implement the support of BLE continuous tx/rx with frequency hopping and with single frequency mode.

I have referred below link for BLE continuous TX/RX

Link : processors.wiki.ti.com/.../WL18xx_Bluetopia_PM_Bluetooth_RF_Testing

In above link, we have implemented the commands referred from the section of "Examples of SS1Tool or Enhanced Bluetopia PM Test Format conversion -> Continuous TX"  and

"Examples of SS1Tool or Enhanced Bluetopia PM Test Format conversion -> Continuous RX" using hcitool  but these commands does not have support to set frequency mode.

The support of frequency mode is available in Packet Tx/Rx mode but I do not understand the use and functionalities of Packet Tx/Rx mode.

Is it possible to give support of frequency mode in continuous TX and continuous Rx commands ?

Thanks,

Ankit
