CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL: Provisioning without Android or iPhone

Hi Malcolm,

If you are working with our examples, you'll need to connect to the network at least once (provisioning by android or iOS device) in order for the network profile to be stored.
Later it will connect automatically to one of the stored networks (up to 7 profiles can be stored).

But assuming you are anyway running your own application, it is easy to add hard-coded network configuration to your app (shown in our examples). There is nothing that needs to be fixed in the driver.

Thanks. Is there a way to import all the projects in the sdk? I get a lot of path errors when I initially tried from the examples folder and also from the top level sdk folder?

Later I tried using the "Resource Explorer", and even though the sdk was installed previously in my d:\ti folder, it though I needed to install it. OK, and it installed on the c:\ti folder and simplelink academy. I had noticed that something was trying to set my ti folder to c:\ti when nothing was installed there, and then ccs would complain that I needed to resolve path as some path beginning with c:\ti was not there. I really did not want to spend the time finding the culprit, but just used the resource explorer install to c:\ti at the sdk examples level, and it imported the projects without error. My c drive is ssd so I had tried to keep it as clean as possible, but it seems "Resource Explorer" defaults to install there. 

What is sc_key in "provisioning.c"? Is that the AP to connect to?

Which example? I am looking at "provisioning" and having difficulty identifying how to set in client mode with connect to ssid.

What are the errors that you are getting?
Are you using CCS7.1?
The SDK examples should open without issues. Have you followed the Getting Started guide (www.ti.com/.../swru461.pdf)
It is recommended to stick to default installation folders.

sc_key refer ti the public key of the smart config process (it is not relevant for AP provisioning).
The AP to connect to is mysimplelink-xxxxx (prefix is defined by uniflash).

As I understand the provisioning example, it allows me to configure with an android or ios phone and save. I want to modify the best example to hard code my 'provisioning' and save the application permanently when done developing.
