Linux/WL1801MOD: Zynq and Wilink - Linux driver

Wilink team,

Do we have any documentation on integrating Wilink with a Zynq processor running Linux? The concern is especially around the Linux driver. I found this post that goes into excellent detail on the steps involved, however, it is from 2015, and I wonder if there has been progress that will make this process simpler.

Since, WL18xx WiFi driver is already in open source kernel, not much porting is needed for newer platforms. However, device tree adaptations are processor dependent and needs appropriate integration effort.. Our WiFi expert may comment further for specific details.

The thread above is indeed old, and the integration mentioned in it is using old drivers/.dts bindings.

As Hari noted, if you are using a recent linux kernel and addressing the platform integration guidelines including physical connections (SDIO, gpios) it should be no different than other platforms used by customers.
