Is it possible to set CC3100MOD in 802.11g/n mode when initiating connection to the AP router?

We don't want to use CC3100MOD in 802.11b mode because the data rate is low.

I know maybe we can configure network mode of AP router to 802.11g/n mode, 802.11g mode only, or 802.11n mode only.

However, we want to use CC3100MOD in 802.11g/n mode while allow the other devices work in 802.11b mode.

Hi Wei-yi,

No. It is not possible. CC3100 determine by itself best mode when is connected to AP. Although 802.11b data rate is low, you cannot expect much higher speed from CC3100 than is possible in 802.11b mode.
