CC3220: WiFi Audio App

Hi team,

Do we have a WiFi Audio App (which uses the CC3200AUDBOOST) for the CC3220 similar to what we had for the CC3200?

The CC3220 I2S echo example is a good starting point for this.

Hi Charles,

Thanks for the response. I believe this example doesn't use WiFi to transmit the audio between two LaunchPads, correct? Do we have an example showing wireless audio communication?

Hi Charles,

I too am looking for the equivalent wifi_audio_app for the CC3220.

I tried running the i2s_echo app as you suggested, but don't get any output on the audio out. I built the CCS/TI-RTOS version of the app with CCS7.

Are there some jumper settings that I need to change? The Audio Boost I am using worked on the CC3200 Launchpad when running the wifi_audio_app.

Hi John,

The i2s_echo app utilizes a configuration for the TLV320AIC3110. Please use the codec configuration files from the CC3200 Wifi Audio Application for the TLV320AIC3254 found on the audio-boostxl.

Hi Bryan,

Am I missing something? This doesn't appear to be an easy task.

What are the "codec configuration files" you are referring to? The source code provided in SDK 1.30 for audiocodec.c/h are very different from the ti_codec.c/h files in SDK 1.40.
