Hello all,

I am interfacing Wl1271 with imx6quad processor and ODIN-W160 chip for wifi.
I have compiled my driver with Linux Kernel version-3.10.17
When i load the drivers and make interface up once in my board. the firmware is loading.
I am getting Wlan0 interface also, but unable to communicate with Wlan0.
The firmware files for Wireless LAN is wl1273-ODIN-W160.bin and it is renamed as wl127x-fw-5-sr.bin and installed at "/lib/firmware/ti-connectivity/".


When i give “iw wlan0 scan” , am not getting any results. Minicom log file is attached with this query forum. Please do check it and help me to solve this issue as soon a possible.

    Could you check whether you are using the last wl1273 Linux driver and binary? The link below describes how to clone drivers and binaries:
    linuxwireless.org/.../
    Then try to calibrate wl1273 using "ti-utils" as it is described.

    I tried to calibrate wl1273 using "ti-utils" as it is described in this “linuxwireless.org/.../” link.

    But when i run “./calibrator plt calibrate” am getting below mentioned errors.

    wlcore: ERROR firmware boot in PLT mode failed despite 3 retries

    Fail to set PLT power mode on

    command failed: No such file or directory (-2)

    When I enable CONFIG_NL80211_TESTMODE in menuconfig, wlan0 is not listing for iwconfig command. So I disabled it and tried to calibrate but the result is same.

    I have attached calibration process log file in this forum. Please do check it and help me to solve this issue as soon as possible.
