CC3120MOD: Confirm the certified antenna for Japan Region

Hi TI Experts,

Please let me confirm the following question.

According to the "CC3120MOD Approved Antennas" on User's guide, there is SMA connector antenna(1019-016 made by Staf) in this list. Did TI use the conversion cable from U.FL to SAM like below when TI tested the radio certification?

Hi Kaka,

The test was done using a radiated cabinet method. The antennas on the list - including the 1019-016 by staf - were reviewed and determined to have gain and out of band characteristic within the limits and specifications of the certification standards.
