Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC3100MOD, , CC3120
Hello,
Is there compatibility between CC3100MOD and CC3120MOD?
It seems that there are some differences from each datasheet; however, most of pins are the same.
Best Regards,
Nomo

Hi Nomo,
Yes, the devices are designed to be compatible (please refer to the package section at the end of both datasheets). There is only one pin that no longer exists on the CC3120 and that is Force AP. The other difference is a direct SPI interface to the on-module SFLASH was exposed on the CC3120 for direct flash programming.
A full list of differences to keep in mind when migrating from the CC3100MOD to the CC3120MOD can be found in the Design Checklist under Necessary Documents here -
