Hi,

I am using WL1837MODGIMOCT WiFi module for my ongoing project. Please provide me solution of my below queries.

How I can check existing transmit power of WL1837MOD module.
Which are the registers need to change from "WL18xx.INI File (Rev. A) " file, to increase transmit power of WL1837MOD.

Kindly provide your valuable response at the earliest.

Hi,

It is not possible to check existing transmit power as it is handled inside the chip firmware and changes dynamically up to the maximum allowed.

You can't access the registers directly. You can use wlconf for generating the wl18xx-conf.bin file with the seetings you want.

wlconf -i /lib/firmware/ti-connectivity/wl18xx-conf.bin -g | grep wl18xx.phy.per_chan_bo_mode_11_abg
wl18xx.phy.per_chan_bo_mode_11_abg = 0x40, 0x00, 0x04, 0x30, 0x00,0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x40, 0x19

and you can use wlconf to tune this value such as the example in section 4 of:
