CC3220MOD: OTA update in AP role

OTA updating the CC3200 based simply on a file transfer, which can certainly occur when the CC3200 is in AP mode. The station (presumably a mobile device) would have to be connected via socket, and have the files stored on it.

I am now working on making the local OTA example work with a NON-RTOS application. Does it sound possible to you?
Is there a ressource available that I am not aware of that can speed up the process?

Honestly it would probably be easier to start out with something more rudimentary. Perhaps just open a TCP server, and accept the file from the smartphone client. You can come up with your own header for the data (length, filename, etc.)
