CC3220MODA: Pin MUX configuration

Guru 24520 points
Part Number: CC3220MODA

Hi TI Experts,

Please let me confirm the following question.

[Question]
Would you please teach me the behavior of CC3220 when GPIO pin set the unexpected GPIO_PAD_CONFIG value (like setting pin 14 pin as Mode7) ?
"Unexpected value" means that TI do not define on the pin mux table at datasheet.

Best regards.
Kaka

  • Hi Kaka,

Setting pin 14 as anything other than default will cause the device to stop working correctly since that is a line that goes to the serial flash. Setting other user controllable pins to a mode that is not on the data sheet can cause undefined behavior, so it's best not to.
