CC3200STK-WIFIMK: CC3200STK-WIFIMK

Part Number: CC3200STK-WIFIMK

Just received my first CC3200STK-WIFIMK sensortag. I can get everything to work except when it comes to provisioning. Phone/iPad connects to the unit (firmware on Sensortag upgraded) I can select the unit, enter the "SensorTag WifiSetup", enter the wifi settings, "Status" changes to "Provisioning" but provisioning is failing with "Could not find the selected WiFi network". That is not an issue as other devices are connected. Reset SensorTag to factory defaults, watched multiple YouTube videos....to no avail. Using a Netgear R7000 router, Samsung S7 as APs, but to no avail. Removed all security from the routers to which I am trying to connect, but to no avail. Router does not even show the Sensortag trying to connect. Has anybody experienced this issue or any suggestions? Worked with multiple WIFI modules before, but never experienced an issue like this. Unit shipped from US, been used in Ireland.

  • Hello,

Have you used iOS Sensor tag? Do you have Android’s SensorTag to check?

Can you also verify verison 1.003  is updated (you mentioned an update which is probably 0.98 -> 1.003).

I see if I can get a sensor tag board to test.
