CC3200STK-WIFIMK: Unable to access and reset after changing its settings

You mean that you provisioned your device to a certain AP and now changed the credentials of this AP into WEP?

So you provisioned the sensor tag to connect to a WEP secured AP?

and this AP exists?

If the provisioning was successful and a profile is created but the sensor tag cannot connect to it for any reason, the only way is to return to default by pressing on both buttons for a few seconds.

But I'm unable to reset it by pressing both buttons twice. I cannot connect the sensortag with any device with the password I gave it.

Just to clarify, it is not that the sensortag is set to WEP. I assume you mean that during provisioning, you configured it to connect to a specific SSID that is set to WEP, right? and now when it is up and running, it tries to connect to this SSID and fails. Is this correct? have you tried to provision it with WEP?

I don't think i have configured it to connect to a specific SSID that is set to WEP. But i remember i went into its settings and changed to WEP. I am unable to change the settings since I'm locked out of the device, hence unable to reset.

Not very clear how you did it.

Did you connect to it while it was in AP mode? for example, it was provisioning (and thus in AP mode) and then you connected to it and changed hiw settings?

Yes, i think so.

Then the only way to go is by restoring to default.

If it does not work for you, I don't know what else you can do.
