OMAP35x_Wireless_Connectivity_Demo

Hi,

I am following the instructions for the "Start WLAN menu" in the link:

Then to connect to the CLI, I typed in : ./wlan_cu

I notice an error message:

ERROR - IpcWpa_Sockets_Open - can't connect the socket

Connection to supplicant failed

user_main, start

.....................................................

Then I continue to follow the instructions to do the WLAN PING test, but it does not work.

Could you help explain the problem.

    Hi again,

    I have found the problem that cause the above message, I missed a command.

    I moved on and had successful connection to a non secure SSID of my choice and trying the WLAN PING test again.

    So far I have 4 packets transmitted, 1 packet received, 75% packet loss.

    So I do have some success.

    Hi Daniel

    Sometimes due to the ARP request or renew of the ARP table we can miss some pings .

    (it can also occurs on wired network ,it isn't related to wireless).

    You should send the ping command one more time and confirm the resaults.
