RTOS/CC2640R2F: Issue while pairing the phone with the launchpad

I am using cc2640r2f launchpad with CCS7.2. I have downloaded simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_1_40_00_45 and used the example ble5_multi_role_cc2640r2lp_app and ble5_multi_role_cc2640r2lp_stack_library.

The project is compiled and loaded successfully.I can get the Bluetooth signal from the launchpad but when I tried to pair my phone with the launchpad, it asks for the password and there are two options such as 0000 and 1234 while pairing. I tried both 0000 and 1234 but I couldn't able to pair with the launchpad.

Kindly suggest the right password.

Hi Abhishek,

For this project, the passcode is statically set to 123456. This is defined in multi_role_processPasscode(), and should be displayed on the uart display from the multi_role device.

Thanks Mam for the reply. I got the function multi_role_processPasscode() and also successfully paired with the mobile phone.
I have searched for the function multi_role device in file multi_role.c but I havn't got. Also I checked the Serial Monior but there was nothing .I tried with many different Baudrates from 9600 to 115200 but I havn't got anything.
Kindly assist me.

Yes by setting the baudrate to 115200 I got a few things in the serial monitor.
So, while pairing the launchpad with the mobile phone there was an option "see contact details".But in the Serial monitor I couldn't see any details of my phone contacts.

Hi Abishek,

You can see instructions on connecting to a terminal program here: dev.ti.com/.../

The multi_role device is the device that displays the passkey. The smartphone is the device where you input the passkey.
