CC3120BOOST: CC3120BOOST not connecting to SSID

Hello,

I need help to send data from the CC3120BOOST card to a wifi network.

I bought CC3120BOOST and CC31XXEMUBOOST development kits. I installed simplelink_studio_cc31xx_sdk_1_00_00_05.exe and I compiled the network_terminal with Visual Studio. I managed to send TCP and UDP packet over WiFi. Next day I updated the serivce pack with sp_3.2.0.0_2.0.0.0_2.2.0.4.bin (file in the same archive as the network_terminal) with Uniflash 4.2.1.1562. Since then I can not connect to any ssid with network_terminal software; I get following message: "[line:202, error:-1] Network Error".
The scan command is working correctly.

One strange thing is that when I try to connect to a SSID just after programming the component with Uniflash, the wlanconnect command returns no message but It's still not connected.

How can I reset the kit to its original state? Can you give me the image file that is shipped with the development kit? Is it a better version of the software available?

Hi Pierre,

I've just verified the steps you made and everything works.

I used the attached (empty) uniflash project (you can import it) so you can test it to make sure your image is ok.

Hi Kobi,

Thank you for the file but it still doesn't work. I get the same behavior as before.

If I check on the access point, the CC3120 is not in the dhcp lease list. The time it worked, I got a lease.
I don't know what to do.

Should the wlanconnect command return something if succeed ?

Just to make sure, are you programming the image ("Program Image (Create and Program)") or simply replace specific file?
Can you try resetting the access point? or using a different one?
