  • Hi,

What version of hostapd are you using?

    Best Regards,
    Eyal
  • Hi Eyal,
we are using hostap 2.5-devel version that released from TI git repository.
    thanks.
  • Dear Eyal

There was a mistake in the upper logs.
Please refer to the following log.

In the below log, it was supposed that an error occurs because there is no survey data.
Please let me know whether normal situation or not?

also if you have any other root cause tell me kindly.

    thanks.

  • Hi,

Can you double check that the channel number is set to "0" in your hostapd.conf?
Can you share your hostapd.conf so we can double check as well?

    Best,
    Eyal
  • Hi,

I attached my hostapd.conf and default configuration file.

We look forward to hearing from you.

    thanks.config.zip

  • Hi,

Are you using hostapd from our latest releaase or an older one?
We are not sure you have all the ACS related patches in the version you use.

    BR,
    Eyal
  • Hi,

we are using hostapd2.4-devel version of WiLink8_R8_6_SP1 cloned from TI git repository.
    the following command was used.
    - git clone git://git.ti.com/wilink8-wlan/build-utilites.git
    - ./build_wl18xx.sh init
    - ./build_wl18xx.sh update R8.6_SP1 -> we decided to use this WiLink version because the kenel version is 3.18.

In my opinion, I think there were some problems when porting network drivers or hostap.
So we want to debug at the source level.
Can you tell me what functions are involved in generating the survey data?
If possible, please provide detailed call flows for debugging.

I'm much obliged to you for your help.
    thanks.
  • Hi,

AFAIK ACS support has been added in R8.7 only, so you need to use the latest tag for the supplicant (R8.7_SP3) and not R8.6_SP1.

At least for the hostap git.

    BR,

    Eyal
