CC3100MODBOOST: ping my Laptop with Windows10

Hello everybody,

i use the MSP-EXP430F5529LP with the CC3100MODBOOST.

I want to use the CC3100 as an AP. Therefore i tryed to use the example "getting_startet_ with_wlan_ap" from TI.

In this example the CC3100 in configurated as an AP and wait until a device is connectet to the AP. After this the CC3100 try to ping the device.

If i use my Smartphone (Android), everything is allright. but if i use my Laptop with Windows 10, i cant ping the device.

Can somebody help me please?

Hi Lukas,

In this configuration the CC3100 is an AP while the Windows 10 laptop is a station. In your trial did the laptop successfully connect to the CC3100 AP? Is there a particular SDK example you are using for this experiment?

One suggestion is to disable the antivirus on your laptop before the device ping.

Hi Austin,

the Connection is successfully.

I use the CC3100SDK-1.2.0.

i can't disable my antivirus, because the IT-Department don't allow it.

Hi Austin,

you were right.

The firewall blocked the pinging.

In order to resive datas from the AP, first i have to send datas to the AP.
