HI,

I am trying to make communication between, cc3200 and XD110 debug probe.

I am trying to test with network_terminal Example. By opening a debug session i got this Error : -2131 @ 0x0)
Unable to access device register. Reset the device, and retry the operation. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK).
(Emulation package 7.0.100.0)

Can any one help me on this?

A few other items to check:

Are you using the CC3200 launchpad?
Is there any issue flashing the board with the latest Service Pack + latest SDK network_terminal example?

Hi Khaoula,

Please also double check the CC3220SF device was flashed in development mode and not production mode.

Hi Austin,

thank you for this information.

I figure out what's happening with my debug probe. we caught some mistakes and debug session works right now :

- modify jumpers to get external power supply

-reset the target device before every debug session ( i don't know why i have to do it )

-remove the XDS110 ADD-on Energy trace HDR.

but i don't understand why should i unplug this ADD-on http://www.ti.com/tool/TMDSEMU110-ETH

Do you have any idea how can i use this ADD-on ?

Additional information for this issue:

When we connect just our XDS-110 debug probe, we can connect to the CC3220SF-Launchpad using probe-supplied power, can debug, set breakpoints and can see energy trace graphs.

When we attach the HDR addon and the USB power cable, but change no other connections to the target and try to start a debug session, we get several popup boxes:

"Configuring debugger... Initializing" IcePic_C"

Followed by:

Error connecting to the target:

(Error -261@0)

Invalid response was detected from the XDS110

We are running CCS Version: 7.4.0.00015

We are very interested in using this device with an external power supply to measure the low-current modes of the CC3220SF.

Is there any way to get a response to our issues?

We cannot recommend this product to our customer without a working EnergyTrace HDR add-on module.
