Someone tell me, my customer question about the CC3200MOD enterprise security certification

below.

The CC3200MOD datasheet describe below;

"The device also supports WPA2 personal and enterprise security and WPS 2.0."

The CC3200MOD, which support PSK certification or IEEE802.1x certification?

My customer is considering to use the CC3200MOD for their medical network system.

So, they need this information.

I think, the CC3200MOD can support both PSK certification and IEEE802.1x certification.

Is it correct.

Hi Yasuhiko,

I do not believe the first generation CC3200 device supports this Wi-Fi security feature. However, from the datasheet, you'll find the 2nd generation CC3220 offers WPA2 Personal and Enterprise Security: WEP, WPA/WPA2 PSK, WPA2 Enterprise (802.1x)
