When disconnecting and reconnecting to a new AP, the previous AP is being connected.

Hi Abishek,

You probably have Auto or Fast connection policy set. Please see section 5.3 of http://www.ti.com/lit/swru368

Auto - Device will connect to the stored profile with the highest priority

Fast - Device will connect to the previously connected AP

Is there any way to connect to a particular AP (known SSID) and not based on any priority order. Setting the mode to Auto doesn't help.

Hi Abishek,

Your options are the following:

1. Set your desired AP/SSID to the highest priority and once connected switch to Fast connect policy to automatically connect to it if a disconnection occurs. Setting priority is discussed in Section 5.2 of http://www.ti.com/lit/swru368

2. Delete all other profiles and make your AP/SSID the only profile available to be connected to. Then you can use Auto connection to initially connect and switch to Fast connect after that. Deleting profiles is discussed in Section 5.2 of http://www.ti.com/lit/swru368
