I'm wondering if its possible to OTA the .pem certificate used for WPA2 Enterprise.

Hi John,

CC3200 only supports .DER files for secured files. CC3120 and CC3220 support .PEM format.

You can effectively use OpenSSL to convert between these file types if you'd like.

Thanks very much for the response Kevin but I’m still slightly confused. Am I able to program a .pem file for use with WPA2 Enterprise in the field (not relying on Uniflash) on a CC3200 (not cc3220).

Also to clarify I don’t care about the file being secure, I just want to allow the .pem file to be changed in the field.

Hi John,

Sorry, I misunderstood. Yes you can send .pem files over OTA and use them as you please.

Uniflash would not be needed for this.
