CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL: Failed to read User's Guide...

Part Number: CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC3220SF, UNIFLASH

In my haste to get started with the CC3220SF LaunchPad I failed to read the User's Guide prior to building and loading the out_of_box_CC3220SF_LAUNCHXL_tirtos_ccs project outfile. This worked, and I did see a provisioning message on the serial port. However, because I did not understand that I needed to load the TI iOS app to continue, I started tinkering with the SOP jumpers, thinking I had to restore the flash to factory setup. Now that I've read the User's Guide I understand how to proceed. However, I am unable to connect to the CC3220 LaunchPad from Uniflash or CCS7.

I see the following error message:

Error connecting to the target:
(Error -1170 @ 0x0)
Unable to access the DAP. Reset the device, and retry the operation. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK).
(Emulation package 7.0.100.1)

My target config is working, as I was able to initially load and debug the out_of_the_box example. Tinkering with the SOP jumpers seems to have caused the problem. Currently, I have on SOP jumper 1 installed.

Is it possible to recover from this state?
