Hi,
We designed a custom PCB with a WL1835, with an antenna trace to an SMA connector, having forseen some matching components that are still to be determined (pi filter) for antenna matching.
To check and determine these values for the matching circuit, we'd use a VNA/network analyser and check for s parameters as well as VSWR.
My question:
- Is there an easy way to allow the wilink to send a single carrier on a specific channel? (for VSWR measurement).
- Is there an easy way to ensure the wilink chip is in full transmit mode (PA is powered etc), so its input impendance is as it should be, while not sending any actual traffic (which can interfere with the measurements)?
