Please let me confirm the following question.

When customer use the UART_read function with "UART_MODE_BLOCKING", can they use the "UART_readCancel()" function?

Hi Kaka,

UART_readCancel can only be used with UART callback mode. Please see the TI Drivers documentation in the SDK.

If customer would like to stop the UART_read before getting the expected data count, how should they do it?

Hi Kaka,

If you are using blocking mode, you can set a read timeout in the UART parameters using UART_Params_init(). This can keep your application from blocking forever.

If you want your application to be able to dynamically stop UART_read, you should use callback mode.
