CC3200: CC3200 Mac address range

Hi,

Is there a specify mac address range that is used for CC3200 (number on part: cc3200R1 M2 4c3 ZFRR G4) chips? Can I determine what the range would be from the number on the chip? Right now, I have seen F4:B8:5E:xx:xx:xx and 58:7A:62:xx:xx:xx. I would like to verify that the mac address falls within a known range or verify against a known sets of valid addresses for manufacturing tests.

Hi Kevin,

We do not have a set range of MAC addresses, but we do report our MAC addresses to IEEE Standards Association if you would like to look up that information.

Thanks Sarah,

I have found the list of total MACs that TI has registered with IEEE. With that, there is no way to know which ones were used specifically on the CC3200.

We do not maintain a list of MAC addresses by device. The best you can do is check if it's a registered TI address.
