When i am trying to upload a program to the board this error coming. Please help... its urgent

Error connecting to the target:
(Error -2131 @ 0x0)
Unable to access device register. Reset the device, and retry the operation. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK).
(Emulation package 7.0.100.1)

Hi,

Please make sure that your board is in development mode (set using Uniflash software) and is selected right mode by SOP in accordance with target configuration in CCS (SWD or 4wire JTAG).

Hi,

Additional information about your issue: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Debugging_JTAG_Connectivity_Problems

but, ate you really sure that:
- your CC3220 is switched into development mode
- you have properly connected JTAG (TMS, TCK, TDO, TDI) jumpers
- set correct SOP configuration?

1.cc3220sf is in development mode.

2. JTAG pins are properly shorted.

Hi,

OK, it looks reasonable. Target configuration in CCS is set to JTAG (CC3220SF not CC3220SF_SWD) right?

Hi,

I am not sure what can be wrong in your case. Same error from test I can see when I disconnect jumpers for JTAG (TMS, TCK, TDO, TDI). Can you visually check if there are no manufacturing issues on your board? Just to be sure, you have connected nothing to booster-pack connectors?

Please wait for answer from TI side, maybe they will have more ideas.
