CC3220S-LAUNCHXL: Trouble connecting when using provisioning sample code

Part Number: CC3220S-LAUNCHXL

I've been trying to use the provisioning sample code, but when I attempt to provision the launchpad using the SimpleLink Starter Pro app, I keep getting the error message shown below.

What might be causing this?  I've tried both the FreeRTOS and the TI-RTOS versions of this sample project.  I've also tried using two different boards.

    1. What SDK version are you using? Be sure you have the correct service pack (in the SDK tools folder) loaded to the serial flash.
    2. Are you using Android or iOS? What version?
    3. Are you trying AP provisioning or SmartConfig?

    You can also check out the Provisioning SimpleLink Academy. Task 2 covers all of the certificates you need loaded to the serial flash: dev.ti.com/.../

    Sorry for the late reply, but I didn't see this response until just now. The problem appears to have gone away for some reason.

    I was indeed using an Android phone, and was using basic AP provisioning. I don't know why the problem no longer manifests itself.
