Hello,

I am following the Provisioning: Connecting SimpleLink™ Wi-Fi® Technology to a Network demo, but I faced an error in task 2 when trying to flash the image. I have followed all the steps but this error pops up when I try to create the image:

Operation failed: Image creation failure: Error ! Signature file name is empty

What can I do to fix this?

Thank you very much! That seems to work just fine!

I have made it to the last step which is: Connect with SmartConfig. However, when I press "Start Configuration", a window pops up asking to connect to network called mysimplelink, which was done in a previous step.
The link for the demo: localhost:55432/.../wifi_provisioning.html

Any idea on what's wrong?

HI Mohamed,

You should start the provisioning process connected to the AP you want to configure to, and then connect to the simplelink AP when prompted..

Hi Aaron,

Thanks for the help, it worked!

But after I do the smartconfig step and click on the device in the Simplelink app, it takes me to a webpage and I get this:

This page isn’t working
172.28.174.106 didn’t send any data.
ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

What should I do to be able to view the page?

I have figured it out. Turns out I can choose to open the link at my own risk.

After I viewed the page I couldn't find any demos or examples, is there such thing?
Because I found in this link: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../CC3100_&_CC3200_Provisioning that I can run demos.

There isn't necessarily any web content on the device to be served by the internal server. You have to put it there if you want it..
