CC3200: Wi-Fi internet access while connected to network of CC3200-based sensors

I'm just starting a project that will consist of a number of CC3200-based sensors which send data back to a Windows PC using Wi-Fi. The PC will be running an app which reads and processes the data from these sensors utilizing the built-in Wi-Fi capabilities of the PC. Our client would also like to have access to the Internet over Wi-Fi on the PC at the same time. Is this possible? I'm assuming that I need to configure the sensors as Wi-Fi stations and the PC as a Wi-Fi AP to deal with collecting the sensor data. Is there a way to then use that same Wi-Fi card to access the Internet? Is there another way to configure everything to enable this functionality?

Will the customer be interested in sending the data to the cloud and having the PC fetch the content from the cloud?

Hi Charles,

No, the client would like all of the sensor data to be sent to the local PC. There will be some installations where Internet connectivity is not reliable, and he would not want the system to be unusable because of this. I believe he would also have concerns about putting this data in the cloud to begin with.

Brian -
you can setup local network with router and then have the Wi-Fi sensors send their data to laptop/tower IP address, with all of them being clients on the same network.
