Hi Dear Support,

I have a problem on one of my custom made cc3100mod boards running the spi-debug tool. The program hangs at this line:

/* Wait until we get an increment on IRQ value */
while (irqCheck == g_irqCounter) {
}

Flashing the servicepack via UART was successful (servicepack_1.0.1.11-2.9.0.0.bin)

The Board is a custom made 2 layer board together with a stm32f446 nucleo and the programming environment OpenStm32/AC6.

I have measured all relevant signals mith the scope (3V3, Gnd, spi signals, nhib and reset). The Power is stable and I did not found any short circuit or not connected signals. Could you give me any hint what could be wrong.

Hello,

It means that you enabled the CC3100 but you didn't get an interrupt from the device.

Have you probed the host interrupt line as well (as I cannot see it on your list)?

Are you sure that the device is turned on (the device gets out of reset).

Hello Shlomi,
excuse my late reply.
My problem with the board is not resolved.

I have enabled the CC3100 but didn't get an interrupt from the device and I have probed the host interrupt line.
How can I see that the device is turned on, reset line is ok.

Hello,

You need to make sure that the device is powered and that you toggle the device using the nHib (i.e. from LOW to HIGH).

Then, the device should initialize.

the problem is solved, it was caused by poor soldering of two pads.
