Hi,

I was created baseline for my project with FreeRtos. Now I slowly implementing thing and found there is no timer related API support in osi.h. Like "xTimerCreate" , "xTimerStart", "xTimerStop", "xTimerReset"....

If this was there, please tell me where i can find this information. Because I checking osi.h , and it looks like wrapper kind of module for freertos.

    See C:\ti\CC3200SDK_1.3.0\cc3200-sdk\third_party\FreeRTOS\source for timers.c and C:\ti\CC3200SDK_1.3.0\cc3200-sdk\third_party\FreeRTOS\source\include folder for timers.h and see if this is not what you are looking for.

    Yes,

    I also saw this is there in FreeRtos files... but how i can use it in my application ? I already tried to enable "#define configUSE_TIMERS 1" in FreeRtosConfig.h file to enable this timer service. and build osi project again. But still that part of code was not enabled , still grayed out( disabled ). so I want to know how to enable this part of code in timer.c. Can include timers.h file in my application c file and use ?

    Hi fastmahesh,

    I would suggest taking a look at this post, which outlines steps for including software timers in a FreeRTOS application.  Also, there is a page maintained by FreeRTOS on including this configuration below.  Please try these steps out in your example.

    I made it work. I never know the Osi project need to update to create/update FreeStos.c file. Thnaks
