Linux/WL1807MOD: Configuration file and WiFi modes

We use a WL1807MOD on one of our Android/Linux devices.
We would like to configure it on different WiFi modes of operation (AP, STA or Wi-Fi Direct Mode) in relation to some different installation case required by our customer.

Is the configuration (wl18xx-conf.bin) file unique for all these functional modes?

Hi,
wl18xx-conf.bin is module (Wl1837MOD, WL1835MOD) dependent and not role (AP,STA etc. ) dependent.

I work with Matteo and I would like to thank you for your prompt answer.

I would like to ask another thing. Can you please confirm that the same wl18xx-conf.bin file can be used either for normal operation or certification tests (processors.wiki.ti.com/.../WL18xxMOD_Regulatory_Product_Certification)?

Yes - same wl18xx-conf.bin that was used for regulatory certification should be used on final product for normal operation
