Linux/TMDXEVM3358: How to get precise timestamp when time synchronization over WiFi feature is enabled?

Part Number: TMDXEVM3358

Tool/software: Linux

Hi All,

I'm trying to use the time-sync feature as described here:

The documentation on the wiki says:

"When host clock on all devices within the same BSS is synchronized, it can be used for any kind of application layer implementations,
like synchronization between speakers within a home theater system, cameras' capturing with a precise intervals and so forth."

The question is: what function/command should I use to get the timestamp at the specific moment in my code? Will a simple Linux "date" command or std::chrono::system_clock::now() do the trick, and the time I will get will be synchronized between all the devices in the same BSS? Or maybe I need to use some low level API to do this, e.g. to read some timer register?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Karol
