Any test tool/application/equipment or test house which provide BlueZ AVDTP and AVCTP irregular cases?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: WL1271, OMAP3530

Hi,

I am planning a Bluetooth Protocol Stack (BlueZ) validation test on Linux/OMAP3530+WL1271.

Now, I am looking for a tool/application/equipment or a 3rd party which can test BlueZ AVDTP and AVCTP irregular cases. Basic tests can be covered running A2DP and AVRCP however test conditions such as error handling or timeouts should be required to cover all possible conditions.

Could somebody help me to find a solution for BluZ tests?

Thanks in advance.

  • Currently there no such tools available to test irregular test cases.

  • Aman,

Thank you very much for your comment.

  • Hello,

In general this kind of testing is performed on Bluetooth SIG UPF (UnPlugFest) where stack vendors are verifying interoperability and testing it.

The question is why are you interested in irregular behavior of BlueZ ? If you are going to develop your own application above AVRCP/AVDTP then this is a reasonable approach, otherwise if you are a user of the BlueZ stack then I would suggest you to rely on the IOP testing that was done by the BlueZ vendors. Can you please specify the reason of your interest? This will help to point you to the correct direction.

    Regards,

    Igor
