hi,

i want to know about the ti support about net api in simplelink SDK, just like MQTT api and HTTP server response or socket api, TI net api is multitask safe api？ when i multitask pthread use about net api,do i add some pthread mutex ?

Hi doubi,

Functions which are not thread safe are marked in documentation, see note "SlNetIf_* functions are not thread safe! Users are responsible for serializing all calls into the SlNetIf module."

I think:

SlNetSock_* - are thread safe

SlNetIf_* - are not thread safe

SlNetUtil_* - are thread safe

Hi,

SDK_PATH/source/driver/net/wifi/sl_socket - this is a SimpleLink driver it is used for communication with network processor

SDK_PATH/source/net/slnetif - it is network abstraction layer above SimpleLink driver. Meaning of this layer is ability to share code between Wired and Wireless Ethernet devices. This layer is used new versions of higher layer network libraries.
