Hi,
I am completely new to WL18XX. I just received below mentioned hardware and I have to bring up WiFi Direct only.
1- BeagleBone Black
2- WL18XXCOM82SDMMC
3- WL1837MODCOM8I
4- Micro SD TF to SD Card Adapter Extension Extender Cable
I studied WiLink8 Linux Getting Started Guide and WL18xx First Time Getting Started Guide (Beaglebone) but got zero understanding for hardware settings and Linux settings. These links are talking about WL18XX CAPE which I don't have.
So please guide me how can I start working with above hardware only. Upon connecting UART with BBB, it shows "Debian GNU/Linux 9 beaglebone ttyGS0" linux. Also when I connect the hardware on uSD card in BBB the "dmesg" command shows below status.

This is correct.
For beagle bone black you should use the standard wl183x cape mentioned by Vihang.
Alternatively you can just get a BBBW which already has the wl1835 module on board:
In the case of this board the debain image that comes with it has wilink8 enabled out of the box.
