CC3220MODA: Update NWP

Hi

I want to confirm if my understanding is correct.

CC3220MODA has NWP which includes Wifi relating contents inside.

The contents can be updated by OTA.  Is it correct?

And, I can refer SWRA510 application report.

Does this report offer the way of update the contents in NWP?

If there is any other materials, please tell us.

    Hi,

    Patches for NWP firmware are done via ServicePack. ServicePack update is one of parts of OTA update.

    So as you mentioned, the firmware could be updated via OTA or Uniflash(UART).

    Hi,

    Latest ServicePack for CC3220 devices is 3.8.0.3. This ServicePack version comes with SDK version 2.20.0.10.

    ServicePack and your firmware for application processor are stored at sFlash (serial flash). SP and your firmware you can update by UART and OTA. In production can be direct programming of SPI flash by external programmer used as well.
