CC3220: Taking firmware generated by CCS*8and using UniFlash 422 to program the CC3220MODASF.

Having no luck downloading to the CC3220MODASF on the launchpad board using UniFlash422. Using the miniature JTAG on the board and the XDS110. Not sure what file to use but I'm using the .hex file from the CCS project Debug folder.

Uniflash starts to create an image but then i get a "wrong device" error. Connects to the cc3220 just fine but disconnects when I hit "Program Image (Create & Program)."

Hi,

Uniflash at CC3220 does not use JTAG/SWD. For programming of image into sFlash is used UART. Please see:

Also, make sure the project setting in Uniflash is for CC3220SF

been looking at swru469b all day and it does nothing for me??? Here is how I use CCSv8 and the on board xds100 to download to the mcu. So your saying this wont work with Uniflash??? What tool do I purchase to download with the Uniflash422??? I was able to use the xds100 tool to download the OOB example to the MCU.
