RTOS/CC3220: Can Linux be used as OS on CC3220

Part Number: CC3220

Tool/software: TI-RTOS

Hello,

I am looking at an MCU with WiFi to run a voice recognition SW on a small IOT device.  I am thinking of using the CC3220 and would like to know if I can install a version of Linux on it as operating system or I can only use TI-RTOS?  Linux is a requirement for the SW I want to use.

Thanks,

Charles
