No. You need to use 46, 47 pins of MOD only. This UART pin numbers are hardcoded in bootlaoder and cannot be changed by user.

Because UART loader mode is handled by bootlaoder code, that this is a different "mode" than is running your code. From this reason this approach is fine and even expected. But if you talk about debug, you talk about sending debug into UART I suppose. Debug from CCS by JTAG/SWD is not done via UART.

Hi Nguyen,

No. You code does not affect UART loader cause is independent. Important are only proper UART pins and SOP pins configuration.

Hi Nguyen,

At CC3220 LP is are connected UART pins 46, 47 of MOD (pins with alias GPIO1, GPIO2) to XDS110. XDS110 here works as virtual COM port via USB.
- Via this virtual port is uploaded content of serial flash by Uniflash software or Embedded programming. This is done in UART loader mode (in "bootlaoder"). This mode in initialised by SOP configuration.
- In case of that you code is running, you can use this UART as you want (transmit or receive data, use it for log purpose, etc.)
