CC3220: SPI FLASH PINS

Hi,

In my design CC3220SF is used as SOC I only using the internal Flash as a program memory, I Didn't use external SPI FLASH,

So my doubt is

Is there any possibility to use the SPI FLASH Pins for other purposes (as GPIO)?

Please clarify my doubt asap.

Hi,

Your design is not correct. External flash is mandatory for all CC32xx/CC31xx devices including CC32xxSF. CC3220SF device is not designed to be used without sFlash.

Hi,

In CC3220SF, if the internal Flash is sufficient for the code and my doubts are

1. Is it possible to run the SOC without the external S-Flash?
2. If it is possible can I use the S-Flash pins for other purposes?

Hi,

External flash is mandatory for CC3220SF chip.
