WL1837MOD: Beacon Time-sync patch

Hi,

About the Wifi beacon -> time-sync feature for Wilink8, ref: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/WiLink8_Feature_Guide/Time_Synchronization_Over_WIFI

This feature was dependent on a dedicated GPIO from the wilink M3 to a timer pin on the main linux CPU.

I'd like to get a wl8 firmware patch to allow to get the AP beacon time-stamps without this extra wire,
either by not filtering it and just using the SDIO IRQ pin, offering a flag to read back the status,
or.. running it over the UART as a custom packet, maybe combined with RTS for tighter timing.

Who at TI can help provide this little update?

Thanks David
