CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL: USB connection problem when using Uniflash

Hi all,

I am trying to burn image onto CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL. I am using TI Uniflash downloading tool to burn bin onto board. I have setup the board to be in USB power mode. When I try to connect Uniflash with board it has the following error:

Operation failed: Unhandled exception: could not open port 'COM11': WindowsError(2,'\xcf\xb5\xcd\xb3\xd5\xd2\xb2\xbb\xb5\xbd\xd6\xb8\xb6\xa8\xb5\xc4\xce\xc4\xbc\xfe\xa1\xa3'

Does anyone knows what is causing this problem? Thank you

Hi yifan,

Do you have any terminal program that is using the port?
Please use the Getting Started Guide for detailed instructions: www.ti.com/.../swru461b.pdf
and/or refer to the following training: dev.ti.com/.../

Hi Kobi,

Thanks for the reply. I have followed the guide to set up uniflash for CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL. When I tried to connect to the device it shows me the error. I have setup the pin to be in USB power mode as followed and connect USB port to PC. Do I need to change the mode in order to connect to PC?
