RTOS/CC3200: Task_sleep problem

Hi everyone

I'm curently working on a project based with a CC3200 module but since this morning i have a problem with one task.

As you can see below, i have a task (process_switch_on_off), it must wait for a semaphore (here g_sys_SwitchStatSyncObj) to continue its job.

BUT the problem is : in RTOS Object View, under Task panel (you can see it below on second picture), my task is blocked on a "Task_sleep(273)".

So my task is never unblocked by my semaphore and block ferever on "Task_sleep".

Hi Harizi,

Can you confirm that you are truly in the semaphore_pend? You can look at CallStacks (next tab to the right from Detailed).

it's is not resolved but I found the problem.

As you can see on the picture below, the task loop in this while cause the "DeviceRec[connhandle]->dev_state" variable never reach the DEV_READY state.

This is why it never reach my semaphore.

( this is in gateway/database.c file, line 1160) from CC3200 Blefi example projet.

Hi Harizi,

How are you running the Blefi project? The software provided was designed to be run on a custom test board, not CC3200 and CC2650 EVMs. If you are using Launchpads to run the provided code, you will likely need to change at the very least the pin muxing of the devices to route the needed signals on the launchpad headers.

The TI design you are using is also somewhat old, and depending on what you are trying to do you could look into using a CC3220 and the BLE plugin:

This runs with CC3220 and BLE device launchpads, and is much better supported than the TI design you are using.
